Tour Time Key Staff Ron Imrie Tour Time's founder, Ron Imrie is a ‘hands-on’ kind of guy, affectionately known as “Ronnie.” He is often found in the driver's seat of a coach – enjoying the drive! With over thirty five years of touring experience, Ron has an incredible wealth of knowledge about New Zealand and a passion for his home country. Ron is in his element sharing his experiences, touring stories and licorice allsorts with passengers. Going the extra mile (or kilometre) comes natural to our number one man at Tour Time. Click here to talk to Ron Beryl Imrie Beryl manages (husband Ron) and oversees the Palmerston North Office. With 23 years' experience co-ordinating, managing and developing the company’s total Tour Packages, Beryl arranges programmes for clients from around the world covering many interests throughout New Zealand and Australia. Beryl actively pursues regular sports activities at a social level (slower pace), these days hockey is her favourite pursuit. A small but loud group of cheerleaders led by Ronnie and several members of the Tour Time team are often seen at her games. Beryl is the one who ensures that the wheels keep on turning (whilst passing her wealth of knowledge on the the Tour Time team), but occasionally gets to escape the Tour Time offices by getting out on the road and hosting a tour. She is the one who ensures all of your needs are met and arranged by the Tour Time family and employees and creating those 'surprises and special extras’ Tour Time is renowned for. Click here to talk to Beryl Brent Imrie Ron and Beryl's son, Brent is Tour Time Group's CEO based at our Auckland office. Brent’s knowledge of tour and travel arrangements is second to none. He is always happy to phone and share his knowledge and experiences with new and regular clients in pursuit of an opportunity to prepare and deliver a tour like never before. Brent enjoys touring with groups as well, albeit only occasionally these days. He can sometimes be found in the driver’s seat of one of our touring coaches or travelling with your group, as Tour Manager to an overseas destination. Brent loves life with his wife Sarah and three children Abbie, James and Elise (with another Princess due any day). He also owns a drum kit the size of Buckingham Palace and enjoys competitive hockey and fishing at his local beach. Click here to talk to Brent John Potter John (you can call me Harry) Potter joined the Tour Time Team after being in the Tour Industry in senior management for nearly twenty years. He is a definite team player with the ability to create and lead in multi cultural environments and manage relationships with leading international tour brands. He enjoys the creativity and personable approach of the Tour Time team and the fun everyone shares in conveying a tour experience to clients like never before. John also enjoys opportunities when they arise to tour with groups. Fun tour commentaries and visiting famous New Zealand attractions are two of his favourite activities. John is currently working on trying to master his skill as a Magician... Click here to talk to John David Underwood David is Tour Time's senior driver. He is a very experienced driver both in New Zealand and Europe where he drove for six years from London to Istanbul. He has an extensive knowledge of snow and icy winter conditions and is a sought after driver/trainer for driving in extreme road conditions. Sports groups especially enjoy David’s encouragement from the sideline. Team water boy, team photographer, and team supermarket man are just three of several talents David brings in to play for a great tour! Sandra Imrie Sandra has a large input into our Music Tours. She was a professional musician in the Band of the Royal New Zealand Navy. She has travelled extensively as part of Bands. Sandra's advice, knowledge and contacts when designing New Zealand and Australian Music Tours is invaluable. Click here to talk to Sandra Glen Brown Glen has recently joined the Tour Time Team. He comes to us after 26 years' Service to the Royal New Zealand Navy. Glen attained the rank of Warrant Officer Yeoman of Signals in the Navy (the highest rank for a Non Commissioned Officer). A highlight of his career was his time as the Command Warrant on board the Naval Frigate HMNZS Te Kaha. He keeps the Team entertained with his salty stories of his life in the Navy! Glen's advice, knowledge and skill sets in Leadership and Management ensures that Tour Time remains ship-shape at all times.
