Tour Time is family owned and operated. Our team includes Tour Co-ordinators and Planners, Programme Development Officers, Education Advisors, Office and Operational Staff, Tour Managers – all hand-picked experienced professionals and experts in particular fields.

We have unrivalled expertise and contacts – our Music Tours are designed by musicians, and Sports Tours are designed by sports people. 

Brent Imrie

Brent is Tour Time Group's CEO. Brent’s knowledge of tour and travel arrangements is second to none as he was a commercial pilot before joining Tour Time 14 years ago. He is always happy to phone and share his knowledge and experiences with new and regular clients in pursuit of an opportunity to prepare and deliver a tour like never before.

Brent enjoys touring with groups as well, albeit only occasionally these days. He can sometimes be found travelling with your group, as Tour Manager to an overseas destination.

Brent loves life with his wife Sarah and four children Abbie, James, Elise and Pippa. He also owns a drum kit the size of Buckingham Palace and enjoys competitive hockey and fishing at his local beach.

Ron Imrie

Tour Time's founder, Ron Imrie is a ‘hands-on’ kind of guy, affectionately known as “Ronnie.” He is often found in the driver's seat of a coach - enjoying the drive!

With over thirty seven years of touring experience, Ron has an incredible wealth of knowledge about New Zealand and a passion for his home country. Ron is in his element sharing his experiences, touring stories and licorice allsorts with passengers. Going the extra mile (or kilometre) comes natural to our number one man at Tour Time.

Beryl Imrie

With 27 years' experience co-ordinating, managing and developing the company’s total Tour Packages, Beryl arranges programmes for clients from around the world covering many interests throughout New Zealand, Australia and overseas. Beryl has been active in many sports with Field Hockey one of her favourite pursuits. The past 18 years have also seen her busy as an active member of the Lions International Service Clubs, where she believes in giving back to communities.

Beryl is the one who ensures that the wheels keep on turning (whilst passing her wealth of knowledge on to the Tour Time team), but occasionally gets to escape the Tour Time offices by getting out on the road and hosting a tour. She is the one who ensures all of your needs are met and arranged by the Tour Time family and employees and creating those 'surprises and special extras’ Tour Time is renowned for.

John Potter

John (you can call me Harry) Potter joined the Tour Time Team after being in the Tour Industry in senior management for nearly twenty years. He is a definite team player with the ability to create and lead in multi cultural environments and manage relationships with leading international tour brands. He enjoys the creativity and personable approach of the Tour Time team and the fun everyone shares in conveying a tour experience to clients like never before.

John also enjoys opportunities when they arise to tour with groups. Fun tour commentaries and visiting famous New Zealand and Australian attractions are two of his favourite activities. John is currently working on trying to master his skill as a Magician...

Glen Brown

Glen came to us after 26 years' Service to the Royal New Zealand Navy. Glen attained the rank of Warrant Officer Yeoman of Signals in the Navy (the highest rank for a Non Commissioned Officer).

A highlight of his career was his time as the Command Warrant on board the Naval Frigate HMNZS Te Kaha. He keeps the Team entertained with his salty stories of his life in the Navy! Glen's advice, knowledge and skill sets in Leadership and Management ensures that Tour Time remains ship-shape at all times.

Sandra Imrie

Sandra has a large input into our Music Tours. She was a professional musician in the Band of the Royal New Zealand Navy and then an Events and Protocol Officer in the Royal New Zealand Navy where she played an integral role in high profile events around New Zealand. She has travelled extensively as part of Bands. Sandra's advice, knowledge and contacts when organising and designing global tours is invaluable.

Our Tour Managers are selected for their high-energy and commitment to customer satisfaction. Your Tour Manager will be co-ordinating and managing all of your scheduled activities and is available to you on a 24-hour basis should you require anything. Our personable overseas partners also add to your touring enjoyment with their local knowledge and expertise. 

Our Tour Managers are hand-picked for both their skills and their personality so they can also infuse every tour with fun and humour. They love what they’re doing and so naturally enjoy the journey and experiences with you.

Unlike ordinary Tour Managers and Guides, Tour Time staff have the authority and flexibility to use spontaneous opportunities to enhance your journey and your tour. Our timetables and itineraries are not rigid so you’ll return home with memories like never before.
