Kia Ora and Welcome to New Zealand!

Congratulations! We were so pleased to hear that you have been invited to join us for WSCM2020.

We’d like to welcome you to New Zealand, to the World Symposium on Choral Music 2020 and to the Tour Time family. We are extremely proud to be part of the partnership bringing you to WSCM2020, held here in one of the most beautiful parts of the world. We have been working with the fantastic WSCM2020 team to provide you with options to travel to New Zealand as one of the carefully selected choirs, we also have exceptional range of travel options and an extended tour menu to really make the most of your stay here in New Zealand during this trip of a life time.

New Zealand (Aotearoa) is the youngest country on earth. It is often referred to as “The World in Miniature.” You’ll find a variety of awe inspiring landscapes in New Zealand, all within easy reach of each other. You can swim, surf and ski all on the same day!

Spectacular glaciers, picturesque fiords, rugged mountains, vast plains, rolling hillsides, subtropical forest, volcanic plateau, miles of coastline with stunning sandy beaches – it’s all here. It is no wonder that it appears as a bucket list destination for millions of people worldwide.

Welcome to the Youngest Country on Earth.

Starting to Build your WSCM2020 Tour Itinerary

As a 100% New Zealand owned family operated business with 27 years of experience, we have the expertise and the contacts to ensure that you will have an experience in New Zealand that will stay with you long after you leave our beautiful shores. New Zealand has so much to offer - from rustic farmland, to sweeping volcanic vistas', to the city lights…your tour to New Zealand can be as colourful or as relaxing as you wish.

We have developed a sample itinerary for your travels below, for which we have proposed a short breather here in lovely Auckland to recuperate from your trip down under, before launching into WSCM2020. But this really is merely a starting point, our specialty lies in taking your dreams and making them come to life. We have a range of extended tours, including opportunities for additional performances outside of Symposium, that will give you a full menu to select from when planning your New Zealand experience. Or come to us with your ideas and we will work with you to create a truly memorable tour.

Our experience has shown us that travellers coming from afar will find that the longer flight times may require a slightly longer recuperation period to allow you to get back into performance condition. We therefore highly recommend that you consider one of our 3 or 4 day tours pre-WSCM2020 to ensure you are well rested and prepared for the start of your Symposium.

“The greatest trip of our lives”

"You may think the Selwyn College choir had a good time in New Zealand. I can assure you they had a great time!

It was truly a memorable experience. Sarah concluded her tour report for the College with words such as, "We are so grateful to Tour Time and everyone who helped to make this trip possible – for many of us, it has been the greatest trip of our lives." .. I am sure she spoke for everyone.”

Rev Dr Philip Raymond, Tour Chaplain, Selwyn Chapel Choir, Cambridge University, UK.
