Sisters n Sport team up with inspiresport for 3-year competition sponsorship deal.
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]We’re proud to announce our latest netball sponsorship deal with Sisters n Sport, a netball specific coaching provider and organisers of the National Netball Cup for Schools.
Sisters n Sport was founded by sisters Victoria & Jennifer and provide high quality netball coaching for children aged 4-15 years of all abilities. They aim to make netball fun and accessible, and to improve the skill levels of all participants, in a safe, nurturing and structured environment along with the delivery of their expert coaching programmes to inspire and motivate.
In 2018, Sisters n Sport launched the National Netball Cup for Schools to give girls more opportunity to compete and for them to showcase their skills with their teammates. The competition saw over 300 teams from more than 125 schools compete across 7 age grades.
And for the first time, in 2019, the competition will be open to specific age grade school teams from Scotland and Wales too.
Netball is enjoying a huge resurgence in popularity in the UK with a 44% increase in grass roots participation reported in 2018. Following the success of the Vitality Roses at last year’s Commonwealth Games on Australia’s Gold Coast, and two category wins in BBC’s Sports Personality of the Year for Sporting Moment and Team of the Year, England Netball report that over 130,000 women and girls have taken up the sport since the gold medal win last April.
