ELITE FACILITIES
The City Football Academy is a Grade 1 Academy and elite training facility adjacent to the Etihad Stadium, on the Etihad Campus. Comprising of 12 youth development football pitches & 4 first team football pitches, the facilities are used for junior, senior, men’s and women’s teams. The CFA is home to all of Manchester City’s soccer teams of all age groups. Two thirds of the 16½ pitches on site are dedicated to youth development, supported by high quality coaching and education facilities, as well as medical and sports science services.

Manchester City Football Club is a professional soccer club based in Manchester, England. The club was founded in 1880 as St. Mark’s (West Gorton) and later became Ardwick Association Football Club before being renamed Manchester City in 1894. They currently play in the Premier League and are considered one of the most successful clubs in English football history.
Manchester City’s home stadium is the Etihad Stadium, located in the east of Manchester. The stadium has a capacity of 55,000 and was opened in 2002. Prior to this, the club played at Maine Road from 1923 until 2003.
Manchester City has a large and dedicated fan base, with supporters all over the world. The club’s fans are known as the “Cityzens” and are known for their passionate support of the team. Manchester City has a strong rivalry with their local rivals, Manchester United, which is considered one of the biggest rivalries in world soccer.
In terms of honours, Manchester City has won numerous trophies. In recent years, the club has been particularly successful under the management of Pep Guardiola.
