Starting life out in South Africa and also with several years in the Middle East, I have been used to international travel from an early age. I have been fortunate enough to have visited over 55 countries and experienced a diversity of cultures. Coupled with my love for sport, these experiences have been pivotal in shaping my career in sports tourism, which I’ve thoroughly enjoyed for over 15 years. The way sport brings people together across the globe is transformative, and there is nothing better than seeing how travel and sport can inspire people and encourage personal growth.
There are too many memories and highlights, however if I had to pick, South Africa’s blend of competitive sport, welcoming people, rich cultural experiences, and unique activities make it an ideal school sports tour destination. The rainbow nation perfectly embodies what sports tours can offer.
Now based in Australia with Inspiresport, I’m eager to continue sharing my passion and expertise, helping to inspire the next generation through travel and sport—no matter what shape the ball is!
