Tour Time has been TAANZ financially bonded for more than a decade. TAANZ (Travel Agents’ Association of New Zealand) is New Zealand’s travel industry organisation, promoting high standards of financial responsibility, transparency, and ethical practice among its members.
Being TAANZ bonded means that all funds paid towards a tour are held in dedicated client accounts and can only be used for that specific tour. These funds cannot be used for operational expenses or other travel programmes, and no profit from a tour is realised until travel has been completed.
TAANZ membership also requires strict financial criteria and ongoing independent reviews, ensuring members operate in a financially stable and transparent manner. For schools and families, this provides assurance that when travel arrangements need to be paid for, the funds are secure and available.
The TAANZ Bonding Scheme, operating since 1966, exists so travellers can proceed with confidence, knowing their tour investment is protected from booking through to return home.
